(8-25-2009) (Denver, CO) – Nancy Roble, Co-Director and CEO of Denver A.C.T.S Resource Center, had a vision six years ago to feed the homeless. According to the United States Census, 20% of all people in the Denver area are beneath the poverty line. Those people who are hit the hardest by the economic decline turn to the A.C.T.S. Resource Center to find the basic essentials they need to live their lives. Today, A.C.T.S food bank feeds more than 10,000 hungry people per month – and that is only one program of the existing six. With goals and a passion to continue expansion, A.C.T.S now has a website - donated by HereNextYear - to educate the public on different programs available to the homeless as well as list ways individuals or companies can help, including submitting online donations....
